Founded in 1983, TXC Corporation specializes in quartz frequency components. Not only does it rank No. 1 globally in market share, but it is also a preferred supplier for top-tier companies in the global telecommunications and networking industries. As a global leader in the quartz component sector, TXC is committed to driving future growth through technological advancement while also pursuing excellence and sustainable development. The company has earned certifications such as ISO 14064, ISO 14067, and ISO 50001, and through long-term green energy procurement, aims to achieve carbon reduction and net-zero emissions in the future.
TXC’s Deputy General Manager, Mr. Chen Qiulin, noted that the need for reporting stemmed from executives’ desire to visualize operational performance and address challenges such as time-consuming report creation, outdated data, and poor chart aesthetics. In 2016, TXC began evaluating and implementing reporting software.
Initially, TXC did not use FanRuan products. While the first solution addressed the need for visual dashboards, it introduced several new issues: data analysis was limited to the management department, making it hard to respond to reporting needs from other teams; the analytics software had a steep learning curve, with no standardization in tools, methods, or visualizations; and the presence of too many disparate systems and unstandardized data posed significant challenges for the IT department.
To resolve these pain points, TXC began working with FanRuan in 2021, progressively implementing its BI tools from Ningbo and Chongqing to the Taoyuan headquarters. The company also launched comprehensive staff training using FanRuan’s extensive online and offline learning resources.
“FanRuan’s technical support is very responsive and can quickly iterate new product features based on our feedback,” said Chen Chiiu Lim. For example, the Excel/PDF one-click export feature in FineReport and FineBI was added based on TXC’s user input.
"The ultimate goal for the future is to make analysis thematic and progress toward more advanced AI-driven analytics," said Chen Qiulin. He shared that the company’s long-term vision is for everyone to become a data expert. Through talent development and internal competitions, the goal is to empower every employee to uncover greater value from data through analysis, while also enhancing IT staff’s capabilities in data governance.
Chen also noted that the value of information systems tends to decline over time. To maximize their effectiveness, it's essential to use data — the core of value — to drive process reengineering and functional system improvements. This interaction between data and business unlocks unlimited value, generating deeper insights throughout the journey toward intelligence and ultimately achieving true digital transformation.
After engaging with FanRuan, we were truly impressed—the user experience is outstanding. With a wealth of both online and offline courses, even those with no IT background can get started smoothly. TXC Corporation will continue to build a digital collaboration ecosystem between business and IT, enabling data and business to drive each other and create limitless added value, ultimately achieving intelligent enterprise transformation.
